You'll need to define two header footer variables for this purpose--one for
right-hand pages, the other for left-hand pages:
1. Variable definition for left-hand pages:
$elemtext[elemtag]
2. Variable definition for right-hand pages:
$elemtext[+,elemtag]
Where:
elemtag is replaced by the name of the element containing the lemma.
the +, notation in the variable for the right-hand pages specifies
the last elemtag on the page (the absence of this notation in the
variable for the left-hand pages causes the the first elemtag on
the page to be used)
